Welsh Sausage Company

This company's story begins with a farmer's son, Leuan Edwards, in the beautiful yet rugged countryside of North Wales.

Leuan set out on his own and left his family farm to chase his dream of becoming a butcher. He started an apprenticeship in the small market town of Llanrwst, he quickly gained skills and knowledge and went on to continue his training in Switzerland and Holland where he became a master butcher.

Feeling inspired, Leuan opened a shop in Conwy which he filled with the very best award-winning delights. As the years passed the shop gained more notability and won various awards such as, "Britain's Best Butcher" and "Best Butchers Shop in Wales."

Fast forward to 2014, the shop decided to expand and share their award-winning products and began selling through major retailers such as ASDA. After opening a production factory, the company soon became what we see of it now with products that are a family favourite on tables across Wales and beyond.

BMC (Burger Manufacturing Company)

BMC is a Welsh company established in 1999 and is one of the leading beef manufacturers in the UK.

Their first major achievement as a company was the launch and development of their Sparks Catering brand of burgers. BMC quickly picked up on the ever-growing need for quality beef burgers in the fast-food industry and so, in 2017, they invested £4 million into a plant and machinery to create a state of the art facility.

Since then, the company has continued to see growth and can now be found in many European countries as well as all over the UK.

Keep it Classic, Chutney with Indian-Style Curry

We'll start with a classic, simply serve the chutney straight form the jar alongside an aromatic curry. After all, chutney was designed to perfectly pair with Indian-style dishes.

2. Delicious Spread for Special Occasions

We've all seen the mouth-watering charcuterie boards that have swept the internet. Make it your own by including a dip no one will be able to resist! Cream cheese combined with chutney goes great with crackers, sliced meats and grapes!

3. The Sandwich Enhancer

You can make a flavoursome sandwich spread by combining equal parts mayonnaise and chutney, best used on a ham and cheese sub. Cheese toasties on the menu? Why not spice it up by adding chutney and letting the tangy cheese melt and combine for an explosion of flavour.

4. Chutney perfectly complements the rich flavours of venison, lamb and duck. The chutney can be served on the side or used as a glaze! To make a glaze simply put the chutney into a food processor until it is a paste and slightly dilute it with water. Once this is done, slather your poultry and get roasting!

5. Tempura Dipping Sauce

Combine a tablespoon of chutney with 1 teaspoon of soy sauce, 1/2 a teaspoon of grated fresh ginger, 1 tablespoon of sweet white wine and a 1/4 cup of stock. This can be served hot with tempura for the perfect starter.

Cornish Premier Pasties was established in 2008 by a group of ex-butcher/bakery professionals. Their goal was to create a butcher's pasty which has now become a Cornish family favourite.

Cornish Premier Pasties is a family business who are currently located in St Columb Major, just outside of Newquay. As a company they pride themselves on creating an authentic, traditional, high-quality product. Their products are hand crimped based on time-honoured recipes with ingredients which are locally sourced wherever possible.

As a company, they have built a strong reputation with their consistently made award-winning range of pasties and other products. As of the 5th of March 2022 Cornish Premier Pasties won at the World Pasty Championships hosted at the Eden Project. They were awarded Gold for their traditional Cornish pasty and Silver for their gourmet Cornish pasty under the Company Cornish Category.
