We'll start with a classic, simply serve the chutney straight form the jar alongside an aromatic curry. After all, chutney was designed to perfectly pair with Indian-style dishes.
2. Delicious Spread for Special Occasions
We've all seen the mouth-watering charcuterie boards that have swept the internet. Make it your own by including a dip no one will be able to resist! Cream cheese combined with chutney goes great with crackers, sliced meats and grapes!
3. The Sandwich Enhancer
You can make a flavoursome sandwich spread by combining equal parts mayonnaise and chutney, best used on a ham and cheese sub. Cheese toasties on the menu? Why not spice it up by adding chutney and letting the tangy cheese melt and combine for an explosion of flavour.
4. Chutney perfectly complements the rich flavours of venison, lamb and duck. The chutney can be served on the side or used as a glaze! To make a glaze simply put the chutney into a food processor until it is a paste and slightly dilute it with water. Once this is done, slather your poultry and get roasting!
5. Tempura Dipping Sauce
Combine a tablespoon of chutney with 1 teaspoon of soy sauce, 1/2 a teaspoon of grated fresh ginger, 1 tablespoon of sweet white wine and a 1/4 cup of stock. This can be served hot with tempura for the perfect starter.
